No one likes exams. We don’t either. But like it or not, exams are the ultimate validation of what we have learnt through the testing of our understanding of the subject.
Unlike our parents and the generations before them, we can tap on modern technology to boost the effectiveness of our cramming sessions. You can use technology to study with your friends and help one another even when physically apart.

On 11 May 2012, I joined Singapore’s first Walkabout Singapore event organised by Kristine Lauria who brought Walkabout from New York City to Singapore. “Like Walkabout NYC,” Kristine says, “Its aim is to put Singapore’s vibrant tech scene on the map.” This event helps aspiring entrepreneurs to inspire each other and share tools of the trade of the growing generation of entrepreneurs with the notion of celebrating the technological and entrepreneurial culture in Singapore. Kicking off the programme proper, Ms Grace Fu, Senior Minister of State for Information, Communications and the Arts, spoke to the crowd of almost 500 students and teachers, encouraging everyone to continue developing their talent in infocomm. Ms Fu also launched the “Can’t Live Without Tech” contest.
