Facebook, Gamebook?

If there’s one thing I love about Facebook, it’s the sheer number of GAMES Facebook is hosting! From Farmville to Restaurant City to mini-games created by advertisers and of course, Match Me Up! With so many games on Facebook, it’s impossible to stay bored even for a second! Let’s have a look at some of them.

Speed: Coke Refresh and Dash

The Refresh and Dash game primarily tests your speed. You have to avoid the obstacles and picking up bottles of Coke along the way in the shortest time possible to earn points. Pretty cool way of promoting the Singapore Youth Olympics and Coke at the same time!

Everyone wants to run a restaurant – and now you can! In Restaurant City, you get to run your own restaurant, visit your friends’ restaurants and trade some ingredients when you’re running low on them. You also have to manage your employees and make sure they don’t go hungry!

Knowledge-based: Geo Tour

This is the game I’ve been hooked unto for the past few weeks – Geo Tour! Testing your knowledge of country maps, locations and landmarks, this is definitely a test of your geography prowess.

Speed and Knowledge: Match Me Up

My favourite game so far, Match Me Up! (I’m biased of course…) A game similar to Bejeweled, Match Me Up tests your reflexes and infocomm knowledge in 4 different stages. It gets harder towards the end as you’re given less time to gain as many points as possible, jacking up the intensity and excitement!

And the best part of all these games… prizes! Nowadays, anyone can win an iPad, iPhone, gaming consoles and more just by getting the top score or taking part in a lucky draw. Being rewarded for my gaming skills? Awesome or what! That’s not all…a little bird told me that there will be yet another Facebook contest on our fan page coming up in January 2011 (what better way to start the year, right?), so keep a lookout for that as well!

What are some of the games you love to play on Facebook, and what prizes would you love to win?
