Objective
The
Enhanced Learning in Infocomm Technology (ELITe) is a talent development programme that provides undergraduates with opportunities to acquire practical
exposure and certifications through industry attachments, mentorship, projects and skills development.
Infocomm undergraduates who are interested in the programme approach their school’s
undergraduate office.
Who Can Apply?
1st year undergraduates who have completed first year of infocomm studies and are
eligible to be promoted to second year of studies.

- Local and overseas industry internship with infocomm industry leaders.
- Mentorship from industry leaders to understand industry needs and equip themselves with industry-relevant skills before graduation.<

- Support for IDA endorsed certifications and courses.
ELITe
is supported by the following industry partners to offer ELITe undergraduates
with opportunities for mentorship, internships, or industry-relevant projects.

Programme Coverage
IDA will subsidise the cost of living and airfare of overseas internship per student at:
- S$800 per month for a maximum of six (6) months, for cost of living
allowance; and
- 100% of return economy class airfare and airport tax, capped at S1,200.
IDA supports endorsed
certifications and courses undertaken by students at:
- 100% of the technical course (s) and/or certification fee(s), capped at
S$6,000 per student.
- IDA will arrange and provide 100% funding support for customized
soft-skills courses to be conducted for the ELITe students.

Service Commitment
Successful applicants will be required to:
- Attend at least one
seminar, lecture or workshop during undergraduate studies.
- Undertake at least one
industry-relevant project during his/her undergraduate studies with his/her
mentor or undertake an industry-relevant project accepted by the university.
- Undertake at least one
internship during his undergraduate studies with an industry partner.
- Take up at least one
endorsed certification or course
- Maintain a progress report
throughout the duration of the programme.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicant must:
- Be Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents;
- Be infocomm undergraduates who have completed first year of infocomm studies and eligible to be promoted to second year of studies;
- Not a current scholarship holder or have any bond liabilities upon graduation.

Undergraduates in the ELITe programme will be invited to infocomm seminars, lectures and workshops. These platforms help to sharpen their thinking skills and provide them with good insights on the development of the infocomm industry.
