Occupation Description
Primary Purpose
Define a high level enterprise-wide IT architecture focusing on the mapping of IT capabilities to business needs, defines the relationships, flows and implementation of business architecture, information architecture, application architecture and technology architecture in response to changing business needs.
Responsibilities
- Design business, information, application and technology architecture.
- Plan enterprise architecture development.
- Design information systems architecture.
- Perform architecture gap analysis.
- Develop architecture transition plan.
- Design architecture governance.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent.
- At least 7 years of experience in developing and implementing business systems in a large organisation.
- Exposure to multiple diverse technical configurations, technologies and processing environments with knowledge of all components of holistic enterprise architecture.
- Knowledge of business process re-engineering principles/processes & the ability to translate business needs to enterprise architecture requirements, including estimation of financial impact for enterprise architecture alternatives.
- Knowledge of network architecture and object-oriented analysis and design.
