On 16 April 2010, the second batch of Integrated Infocomm Scholars received their scholarship awards from Mr Zaqy Mohamad, Chairman of the Government Parliamentary Committee (GPC) for the Ministry of Information, Communications and the Arts (MICA) during the IIS Awards Ceremony held at the Supreme Court Auditorium.

 

These scholars were picked from an increased pool of applicants, which was about 30% more than 2009. 

 

 

Together with the 32 IIS recipients, parents, faculty members from the various polytechnics, as well as some members from IDA’s senior leadership team were also present at the award ceremony. Following the award ceremony was a networking session where the attendees get to mingle together over tea and it was also a time for scholars to get to know their fellow scholars as well as their faculty members.
