Integration Architect

Occupation Description
Primary Purpose
Design solutions to enable integration of existing and new application components, applications, packaged software offerings and systems to work together within an enterprise or among enterprises.

Responsibilities
  1. Design solutions which enable existing and new application components, applications, packaged software offerings and systems to work together within an enterprise or among enterprises (usually known as Enterprise Application Integration or more recently as Business Integration).
  2. Able to use different technologies, vendors, platforms, and styles of computing to meet diverse needs.
  3. Involved all levels of integration. (User Access, Application, Extended Enterprise, Process, and Information Integration).
  4. Create integration technology deployment and operations management strategies and plans, and integration organisational model and change management plan.
Requirements
  • Degree in Computer Science or Information System or equivalent
  • 5+ years of design and delivery of data and application integration solutions
  • Excellent knowledge of technical architectures, application design patterns, data & XML messaging models and application modelling techniques
  • Thorough understanding of technology trends and developments in the application & integration architecture space
