Andrew KHAW
Senior Director, Industry Development Group
Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore  
Mr Khaw oversees the Industry Development Group whose intent is to work with industry, agency partners and industry bodies to position Singapore for a competitive future in the global infocomm industry.  His group comprises the Enterprise Infocomm and Consumer Infocomm sectors, Entrepreneurship and Start-ups, Manpower Development, International Operations as well as promotion of infocomm adoption for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs).
Andrew is blessed with a wonderful wife, a lovely daughter and a fun-loving son.  He enjoys golf, the guitar and working with people.
 
Warren SPERRY
IT Director
Barclays Capital 
Warren Sperry is responsible for IT Production across the Asia region. He has over 20 years experience in Investment Banking IT which include working in locations such as Tokyo, New York and now in Singapore. One of Warren’s key responsibilities is to ensure the IT infrastructure is prepared and can sustain a rapidly growing business across the Asia region. For example, Barclays Capital is expanding in Singapore, Tokyo and Hong Kong which require new office space and investment in IT capabilities. The continuing demand for improved system performance, data availability and security.
 
During the seminar, Warren will be sharing with the audience the technology organisation structure, the various exciting functions and roles and the career progression opportunities in Barclays Capital; especially in the context of Singapore and Asia Pacific. He will also touch on the strategic role of technology in supporting growth and competitive advantage for the business.
 
Velina COLLINS-LOI

Velina has extensive experience in Human Resources.  She runs her own HR & Career consulting business – Career Vision Consulting.   Velina is also an Adjunct Lecturer at the Singapore Management University and the strategic business partner of Sally White & Associates, a US-based global career & life transition company.  Besides equipping undergraduates with career skills, Velina also provides individual career coaching to professionals and trailing spouses who are relocated to Singapore.  Velina is married with 3 children.
  
Donny CHEAH
Director, Global Accounts Management
Singapore Telecommunications Limited (SingTel)
 
Mr. Donny Cheah joined SingTel on 2 January 2001 and currently heads the department that is responsible for serving the top tier multi-national global accounts in SingTel.
Prior to joining SingTel, Mr Cheah has vast regional working experiences. He was based in Thailand for 4 years as General Manager for a Japanese conglomerate to establish its Thailand branch company and thereafter assumed the position as the Regional General Manager based in Singapore, responsible for the Asia Pacific region.
 
 
 Dr Ben LEONG
Assistant Professor, School of Computing
National University of Singapore 
Dr Ben Leong received his S.B., M.Eng. and Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1997, 1997 and 2006 respectively. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the School of Computing, National University of Singapore.  He was once a PSC Scholar and was Assistant Director (Legal Service & Discipline) at the Public Service Division, Prime Minister's Office in from 1999 to 2001.
 
Qingwei YANG
National Infocomm Scholarship (NIS) Scholar, bonded to Barclays Capital
 
Qingwei Yang is a Graduate Analyst and National Infocomm Scholarship (NIS) Scholar at Barclays Capital. He has been with the Futures IT team since the start of his internship in May 2010. Qingwei is involved in developing front-to-back IT systems, such as High Speed Trading Systems and Direct Market Access platforms, for the Futures Business.

Prior to joining Barclays Capital, Qingwei studied in Temasek Polytechnic and the National University of Singapore. He graduated as best student with First Class Honours in Computing, majoring in Information Systems.

Raffles Place MRT Station – 15 minutes’ air-conditioned Underground Pedestrian Network (UPN) walk towards Marina Bay Link Mall (MBLM) / MBFC, via One Raffles Quay and The Sail.

Option 2
Marina Bay MRT Station – 5 minutes’ walk on unsheltered ground level surface to MBLM / MBFC, via Marina Way.

By Bus
Take 97, 97E, 133 & 133A and alight at the MBFC bus stop is opposite Tower 1, which is linked to the retail mall through the UPN. You can walk through the mall into the office tower lobbies via escalators.

By Taxi:
Alight at MBFC drop off point via Marina Boulevard / Straits View.

If you are driving:
Enter Marina Bay Link Mall through public car park entrance via Marina Boulevard / Marina View.
Parking Charges:
For Car: $3 for the first 4 hours and $0.25 for subsequent 10 minutes or part thereof.
For Motorcycle: $1 per 2 hours or part thereof
