Primary Purpose
Implement, upgrade, monitor and promote information security measures for computer systems and networks
Responsibilities
- Monitor, evaluate and maintain log-on accounts and passwords for network users
- Monitor and analyse system access logs
- Install and configure hardware and software designed to enhance system security
- Assess on-line systems including on-line databases and internet web pages to ensure they comply with security standards
- Report any security threats and breaches and promote system security throughout the organisation
Requirements
- 0-2 years experience in PC/LAN support, mainframe systems or server environment with exposure to IT security and security technologies
- Diploma or Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent
