Youth Infocomm Day (National Infocomm Club Awards 2011)

Into its 5th year, the National Infocomm Clubs Awards (NICA) is awarded by the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore to honour the best clubs in Infocomm innovation.  The objective of NICA is to motivate Infocomm Clubs to strive for excellence in the area of Infocomm, through projects that will benefit the school, society, community or nation. The Awards also allows for the sharing of the best projects, creating a vibrant hub of success stories and learning journeys for all Infocomm Club Schools.

This year, the theme for the awards is Cyberwellness & Security. Over 100 entries submissions from primary, secondary and junior colleges were received. Six finalists from each category (primary and secondary/junior colleges) have been selected by a panel of judges and will be awarded during Youth Infocomm Day 2011.

This year, we are opening the NICA Students' Choice Awards for online voting as well as voting on the day of the Awards Ceremony itself, to allow more people to choose their favourites. Online voting will close at 10 am on 10 November 2011, Thursday and onsite voting will close at 1.30 pm on 11 November 2011, Friday.
